what an album! though the instrumentals were the beginning of the appeal, there's no denying that the vocals are a perfect match for this romp through every 80's genre. there's the exquisite bliss of synth pop, some hair metal, some great and creative ballads, a little coldwave, literally a decade in 13 tracks, all of which are superbly crafted. plus a stellar Prince cover!
